About Us
The Tucson Aztecs Soccer Club was founded by the late Bebo Lopez and his wife Sylvia Lopez. The Tucson Aztecs were founded in 1982 and is the oldest soccer club in Tucson.
Sylvia is still very active in the club and we are all thankful for her hard work and dedication. Many years later this Tucson Tradition lives on. Many of the Tucson Aztec coaches played for this club as kids and are proud to now have their own kids, family and friends playing here at Menlo.
The Tucson Aztecs is a non-profit organization providing boys and girls on the west side of Tucson and the surrounding communities the opportunity to play organized soccer. We view soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change. By supporting the development of safe places to play, grow and learn, we ensure that our children in our communities have easy and affordable access to quality soccer programs that support both their personal and physical development.
In addition, our club challenges our children not only physically, but most importantly mentally. We encourage our children to be successful in the classroom, as well as on the field.
Aztec Soccer stands for excellence in its approach to teaching the child elements of life being learned through the sport.
Tucson Aztecs hold all practices at Menlo Park.
Menlo Park is located on the west side of Tucson.
